Even longer battery life, a longer range and more wireless channels – the new BMS Audio TOM-Audio TG-200 eTour represents the new generation of digital tour guide systems.

An even more stable wireless connection and improved service life were the clearly stated aims in the development of the well-established TOM-Audio TG-100 eTour. BMS Audio has made this a reality with the next generation of tour guide systems, the TOM-Audio TG-200 eTour. Four years of operational experience have been incorporated in the development of the new tour guide system. And the resulting increased range of the TOM-Audio TG-200 eTour is bound to impress.

Whether in tourism, industry, local authorities or for interpreting – the new BMS Audio digital tour guide system is used whenever loud speaking is inappropriate with guided tours, when there is a high level of background noise, when the speaker needs to be clearly understood or a larger group is being hosted.

As usual, the system comprises transmitters, receivers and the SyncKit, which quickly and easily delivers a grouping function as required. Place the transmitters and receivers in the transport bag, select the required channel using the SyncKit, then insert that into the transport bag’s station too – and you’re done! All groups are switched onto their own channel in this same simple way.

70 channels are now available for wireless transmission with the TOM-Audio TG-200 eTour to avoid interference from other equipment, particularly in tourist hotspots. Of these 70 channels, 52 channels are approved for use in Germany, 18 channels can be used free in the EU, Switzerland and Liechtenstein without the need for registration. This means  users in Germany will not be troubled by foreign tour groups travelling with EU frequencies, in spite of its longer range.

The new TOM-Audio TG-200 eTour runs for a full 10 days with on average 3 hours of use each day without needing to be recharged, taking into account the needs of the tourism industry. The environmentally-friendly lithium-polymer battery is fully charged in approx. 6 hours. To do this, the equipment is placed into the charging bag, which also transports it securely. The charging bag is designed for 50 transmitters or receivers and also features a compartment for microphones and handsets. The extensive range of microphones and handsets ensures that users are perfectly served. The simple and easy handling customers have come to expect from BMS Audio was also a prerequisite in the development of the TOM-Audio TG-200 eTour.
