For the first time, a digital tour guide system offers the option of real communication during guided tours and presentations The BMS Audio TOM-Audio TG-101 eTour lets participants receive information as well as put questions to the speaker, offering real added value, especially on guided tours that require intensive explanations.

BMS Audio digital tour guide systems are used whenever loud speaking is inappropriate, when the speaker needs to be clearly understood, when there is a high level of background noise or a larger group is being hosted, such as in churches, museums, on travel events, company tours or in production plants.

With its new digital TOM-Audio TG-101 eTour, BMS Audio has developed a tour guide system that permits real communication. In contrast to the one-way communication of information on guided group tours, participants can now put questions to the speaker. As soon as communication is activated for the group on the transmitter, the visitor can also enable the microphone by pressing a button. The rest of the group can follow the conversation. Other participants can only use the feedback/query function when the microphone button is no longer pressed, thereby avoiding lengthy uncontrolled discussion. The speaker can disable the feedback/query function at any time and continue the guided tour.

The bidirectional version is just as easy to use as the well-established TOM-Audio TG-100 tour guide system. the entire system comprises transmitters, receivers and the SyncKit, which quickly and easily delivers a grouping function as required. Place the transmitters and receivers in the transport bag, select the required channel using the SyncKit, then insert that into the transport bag’s station too – and you’re done! All groups are switched onto their own channel in this same simple way.

There are 56 channels available for wireless transmission. 16 radio channels lie in the ISM frequency range 863 - 865 MHz and can therefore be used in the countries of the European Union as well as Switzerland and Liechtenstein free of registration and fees. The receiver module is a real lightweight, weighing only 33 grammes and lasting up to 20 hours. The lithium-polymer battery is fully charged in approx. 6 hours. Charging is accomplished by placing the devices into the charging bag, which also ensures safe transport. The charging bag is designed for 35 or 50 transmitters or receivers. And if you need more capacity, then a stacking metal charging drawer accommodates up to 60 devices. The plastic charging trolley is the XXL solution for 80 units. All transport bags feature a compartment for microphones and handsets. The single-ear listen-speak combinations are ideal for speakers. Every user is guaranteed to find a model that suits them from the extensive range of microphones and handsets.
