The ‘busplaner’ editorial team has nominated three innovative solutions in eight categories, which are regarded as being particularly visionary and stand out on account of their practical benefits. ‘busplaner’ readers can now vote online on the busplaner.de website until 13 November to select their favourites out of the 24 solutions.
BMS Audio was nominated for its TOM-Audio TG-101 eTour digital tour guide system with dialogue function. This tour guide system enables participants of guided group tours for the first time to direct questions back to the tour guide. To do this, the participant simply presses a button to activate the microphone, providing communication for the group is activated on the transmitter. The remaining participants can follow the discussion. The dialogue function can be disabled at any time by the tour guide. A host of additional functions, including simple grouping or channel switchover, are indispensable features for tour operators. A further bonus of the system is its well thought-out transport system, which is also designed to charge the equipment.
The award winners will be published in the forthcoming December edition of the trade magazine to appear on 15 December 2017. The awards will be presented by the ‘busplaner’ editorial team to the eight winners either at trade fairs or by arrangement at their offices.
